The Datai Langkawi has appointed Céline Maginel as Executive Director of
Marketing & Communications, Melissa Mohan as Director of Marketing
Communications and Stéphanie Walters as Director of Sales.

that encompasses a complete overhaul of the interiors and exteriors following an investment of USD60 million.

Lefort of DL2A was centred around the resort’s guestrooms, suites
and villas; the construction of a Nature Centre; additional spa
pavilions; a refreshed retail space; and a fitness centre by the
beach as well as an overall enhancement of the landscaping.
Joining The Datai Langkawi as Executive Director of Marketing
& Communications, Céline Maginel is a seasoned connoisseur of
luxury hospitality with 20 years of experience in the field.
Céline most recently helmed the role of Director of Sales at Hôtel
Byblos Saint-Tropez. She previously held positions with the Lucien
Barrière Group, managing its portfolio of luxury hotels and
casinos where she oversaw and steered diverse teams of specialists
across Europe, Australia and the Americas.
together with Céline is Melissa Mohan in her role as Director of
Marketing & Communications. Bringing a wealth of knowledge and
expertise to The Datai Langkawi, Melissa has developed a unique
understanding of the media landscape in Asia Pacific with over 15
years of experience in marketing and communications. Prior to The
Datai Langkawi, Melissa previously heldexecutive roles with St.
Regis, The Westin, Le Méridien as well as Singapore-based Park
Stéphanie Walters joins The Datai Langkawi as
Director of Sales with almost 10 years of sales experience and a
global outlook derived from living and working in Europe, the
Middle East, North and South America, and South East Asia.
Stéphanie’s strength lies in driving growth as well as strategy
for both business and leisure market segments having gained
valuable insights working with top international hotel management
companies such as One&Only Resorts, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and
