Cebu Pacific Launches Manila - Siargao Flights

Cebu Pacific has launched flights between Manila and Siargao, a stunningly beautiful island in the Philippine Sea about 800 kilometers southeast of Manila.

To mark the launch of the new route, the first passengers who checked-in for the inaugural Manila-Siargao and the return Siargao- Manila flights received a special gift from Cebu Pacific. In Manila, the first passenger who checked-in for the Manila-Siargao flight, Kassandra 'Kim' Gequillana (in photo, standing center) was awarded by Charo Logarta Lagamon, Corporate Communications Director of Cebu Pacific and Department of Tourism Regional Director Ana Nuguid (flanking Gequillana). The airline will operate the seasonal flights six times per week, every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, until 24 March 2018.

Siargao, regarded as the surfing capital of the Philippines, is a hidden gem that is the perfect destination for backpackers and adventure enthusiasts. Iconic surfing hotspots include Cloud 9 that has the reputation as the best surfing break in Philippines.

Non-surfers, on the other hand, can enjoy idyllic white sand beaches on neighboring Guyam, Daku and Naked Islands.
