Ratchathani and Chiang Mai
|
AirAsia is to launch daily direct flights
between Ubon
Ratchathani and Chiang Mai from 23 June 2017.
This important launch has reiterated the airline's strong
route network and extensive outbound flights from Ubon
Ratchathani, to Bangkok (Don Mueang) with two flights per day, to Pattaya
(U-Tapao) with one daily, and soon to Chiang Mai with one
flight per day.
To celebrate the new route, Thai AirAsia is
offering a
promotional fare of just Baht 690 per trip. The special fare can
be booked, subject to availability, until 28 May 2017 for travel starting
23 June 2017.
Mr. Santisuk Klongchaiya, Director of Commercial
for Thai AirAsia, said, “This new route connects the lower
northeast to the northern province of Chiang Mai, creating
opportunities for economic stimulation and investment as well as
travel by both Thais and foreign visitors. We will start flying
this mid-year from 23 June 2017 onward.”
Flights are operated with 180-seat Airbus A320
aircraft.
