Jumeirah Group Appoints Graham Kiy as Regional Vice President, Greater China

Jumeirah Group has appointed Graham Kiy as Regional Vice President, Greater China and General Manager, Jumeirah Nanjing.

A British national, Graham joined Jumeirah in 2010 as the pre-opening and operations manager for Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, in Dubai.

He has spent more than 30 years working in South East Asia and Greater China undertaking a number of General Manager positions in China, Singapore and Manila. He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as well as German, French, Indonesian and Thai.

As Regional Vice President Graham will head operations across Greater China, where currently there are eight hotels in the Jumeirah Group pipeline.

Graham will also continue his responsibilities leading the pre-opening-team for the new Jumeirah Guangzhou, a 198 room luxury hotel scheduled to open in 2019.

Stefan Leser, Jumeirah Group CEO, said, “The Asia Pacific region is of strategic importance to Jumeirah, both as a focus of our development plans and a key source market for our portfolio of 22 hotels. We currently have 10 projects under development in the region with eight being in China: Nanjing, Qiandaohu, Wuhan, Sanya, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Haikou. In 2015 Jumeirah welcomed more than 176,000 guests from China to our hotels, and we know that our Chinese guests appreciate our warm hospitality.”
