Princess Cruises Promotes Trey Hickey to SVP International Sales

Princess Cruises has promoted Trey Hickey to the position of Senior Vice President International Sales.

Trey was previously Vice President of International Sales where he spearheaded Princess Cruises’ growth in Asia by strengthening the brand’s base of General Sales Agents and integrating it into Carnival Plc offices in the key markets of Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore.

“Under Trey’s leadership, our global sales team has grown from strength to strength, especially in Asia, where he was instrumental in establishing the critical groundwork needed for our successful launch and expansion,” said Anthony Kaufman, Senior Vice President of Asia Operations, Princess Cruises. “With this promotion, we are confident of achieving multiple breakthroughs in our sales goals.”

In his new role, Trey will continue to oversee Princess Cruises’ expansion in Asia and manage the brand’s commercial activities and various General Sales Agent relationships in over 60 countries across Europe, Latin America and Asia. Trey is currently based in Shanghai.

Trey holds degrees in Economics from The University of Rhode Island and from Warnborough University in the UK as well as in Asian History from Seinan Gakuin University in Japan.

He is fluent in Japanese and has served on the Board of Directors of Carnival Japan, PATA and The Asia Cruise Association.
