Starwood Opens First Aloft Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona

Starwood has opened its first Aloft hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Owned and managed by Triyar Hospitality, the hotel recently completed a $4 million conversion to reposition as an Aloft.

Offering sweeping views of Camelback Mountain, the 126-room Aloft Scottsdale boasts an ideal location within Scottsdale’s entertainment district, a popular destination for visitors to the area. Guests have easy access to nearby art galleries, the boutiques along Fifth Avenue, a wide variety of restaurants, Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall and the Scottsdale Waterfront.

“Aloft Scottsdale is a superb addition to our growing portfolio as we continue to aggressively expand the brand in dynamic markets across the globe,” said Brian McGuinness, Senior Vice President, Specialty Select Brands for Starwood. “The popular Aloft brand has surpassed 100 hotels worldwide due to its strong appeal for today’s hyper-connected global traveler with its innovative programming, tech-forward mindset and lively, social scene.”

Aloft Scottsdale features SPG Keyless - an entry system that enables guests to use their smartphone or Apple watch as a room key, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

The hotel offers 400 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, grab and go F&B area and a bar.
