Four Points Hotel Opens in Downtown New York

Starwood has expanded its portfolio of Four Points hotels in New York with the opening of Four Points New York Downtown.

Owned by The Lam Group and managed by Real Hospitality Group (RHG), the Four Points New York Downtown is located at 6 Platt Street at the heart of New York City’s world-famous Financial District, a short walk from Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, Battery Park and the Brooklyn Bridge.

The brand’s fourth hotel in Manhattan, Four Points New York Downtown offers 261 guest rooms, 2,000 square feet of meeting facilities and full-service dining at The Ketch Brewhouse.

Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, business center, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and the brand’s iconic Best Brews and BBQ, including local beers and seasonal BBQ-style appetizers at the hotel’s rooftop lounge.

“The debut of Four Points New York Downtown gives the brand yet another terrific location within New York City where travelers will be just steps from many of the city’s top attractions in lower Manhattan,” said Brian McGuinness, Senior Vice President of Specialty Select Brands for Starwood. “As Starwood’s global pipeline driver, Four Points recently crossed the 200th hotel milestone worldwide and continues to grow at a phenomenal pace in key markets worldwide.”

Four Points is on track to expand its portfolio of rooms by nearly 60% in the next five years with new hotels located in nearly every corner of the globe.
