Oakwood to Open in Brisbane, Australia

Oakwood is expanding its portfolio of serviced apartments to Australia.

The company has signed a management contract with Mapletree Investments for a property in Brisbane, the first Oakwood-branded building in Australia.

Scheduled to open in April 2016, Oakwood Apartments Brisbane is located near the waterfront, offering views of the Brisbane River, Story Bridge and city skyline.

Brisbane’s CBD is a pleasant 10-minute stroll along the riverside boardwalk, while exciting nightlife, world-class live theatre, art galleries and some of Australia’s best restaurants are located close by.

Oakwood Apartments Brisbane comprises of 162 spacious apartments with a choice of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

Oakwood’s brand of  serviced apartments combines the space and privacy of a home with the services of an excellent hotel. The property will serve up great meals in its restaurant and bar, offers an outdoor pool and jacuzzi overlooking the Brisbane River, a tennis court, Fitness Centre and sauna.

Oakwood has appointed Paul Wilsher as General Manager of the property.
