Thai Airways Launches Recruitment Drive for 565 Cabin Crew

Thai Airways International has launched a recruitment campaign for 565 cabin crew.

The application and recruitment process for the make and female cabin crew will run until 15 July 2016 on Thai Airways’ website.

The new cabin attendants will be hired on a three-year contract, which may be renewed one time, whereby the renewed contract will be valid until 30 September 2022.

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Female Cabin Attendants

- Thai national, single (never legally married) with no children;

- Less than 24 years of age (date of birth commencing from 1 January 1992);

- Minimum height of 160 centimeters, with weight in proportion to height based on company standards; and

- Capable of swimming no less than 50 meters continually and can swim freestyle.

Male Cabin Attendants

- Thai national, single (never legally married) with no children;

- Less than 24 years of age (date of birth commencing from 1 January 1992);

- Fulfilled Thai military draft requirement;

- Minimum height of 165 centimeters. with weight in proportion to height based on company standards; and

- Capable of swimming no less than 100 meters continually and can swim freestyle.

Other Qualifications

- Holds at least a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any area of concentration;

- Pass any of the standardized English language exams such as TOEIC (score of 600 or higher), TOEFL (score of 500 or higher), IELTS (score of 5.5 or higher). Validity of test scores must not be more than 2 years from the application date; and

- Able to converse and understand English well. Other foreign language skills are an advantage and will be given consideration.

Interested applicants can obtain additional information on qualifications and the application process etc. through the Thai Airways website until 15 July 2016.
