Emirates SkyCargo Launches Weekly Service Between Hong Kong and Delhi

Emirates SkyCargo has launched a weekly freighter service between Hong Kong and Dubai via Delhi.

The new weekly service is being introduced to tap increasing cargo movements between Hong Kong, the world’s top cargo hub, and Delhi, India

Some of the key exports carried by Emirates SkyCargo from Hong Kong to India include pharmaceutical raw materials, electronics and machinery.

Key exports from Delhi include leather goods, garments, pharmaceuticals and perishables.

Emirates SkyCargo also operates freighter services twice a week from Shanghai to Mumbai and onwards to Dubai and eighteen dedicated cargo flights from Hong Kong to Dubai.

Emirates SkyCargo now operates nineteen weekly freighters in the Hong Kong market, making its Hong Kong operation the largest in Asia, and further strengthening the city’s standing as a regional shipping and logistics hub to Dubai and the west.

Emirates SkyCargo will operate the service with a Boeing 777F, providing 100 tonnes of cargo capacity with one of the widest main deck cargo doors to facilitate the uplifting of large cargo consignments.

EK 9219 departs Hong Kong every Wednesday at 21:35 to arrive in Delhi on Thursday at 00:45. The service leaves Delhi on Thursday at 03:15 to land in Dubai the same morning at 05:20.
