Swissôtel Nankai Osaka Opens Refurbished Grand Ballroom

The Swissôtel Nankai Osaka has re-opened its 1,120 square meters (12,050 square feet) Grand Ballroom.

The US$1.5 million dollar makeover included new wall coverings, wall to wall carpeting and ceiling paint.

The Grand Ballroom “Naniwa” can host up to 1,400 guests in theater style, and can be subdivided to accommodate smaller events.

“We are already receiving a number of positive feedback from our guests,” said Christian Schaufelbühl, General Manager of Swissôtel Nankai Osaka. “With our prime location in Osaka’s most established business and entertainment district, guests can enjoy a leisurely getaway, taking retreat from their busy schedule.”

In addition to the renovation of the Grand Ballroom, the Swissôtel Nankai Osaka recently enhanced its guest rooms with a complete makeover of Swiss Executive Club floors converting double rooms to twin and triple rooms to cater to the growing number of MICE travellers.
