Melia Opens Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar

Meliá Hotels International has expanded its portfolio of hotels to the mystical country of Myanmar in South East Asia.

The Meliá Yangon hotel is located on Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, only 15 minutes drive to the city center as well as to Yangon International Airport and 10 minutes drive to the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda.

Yangon's largest and latest shopping mall, Myanmar Plaza, is directly connected to the hotel.

Overlooking Inya Lake, the hotel provides 430 guestrooms starting from 48 sqm.

Guests on The Level, Meliá’s signature executive floor, get to enjoy privileges such as exclusive access to The Level Lounge, on the top floor with 360 degrees views of the city and Inya Lake.

The hotel also has three restaurants, more than 2,000 sqm of convention space, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and a soon-to-open 1,800 sqm spa which will offer treatments such as hydro-massage, Vichy and jet showers, jacuzzi and sauna.
