Vietjet to Increase Taiwan Flights

Vietjet has unveiled plans to launch flights between Hanoi and Taipei as well as between Ho Chi Minh and Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The Hanoi to Taipei route will commence operations on a daily basis from 30 October 2016 and will depart from Hanoi at 14:45 (local time) and arrive at Taipei at 18:00 (local time). The return flight will take off from Taipei at 19:00 (local time) and arrive in Hanoi at 20:45 (local time). The flight duration per sector is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The Ho Chi Minh to Kaohsiung flights will commence on 12 December 2016, with five return flights per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight, with a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes will depart from Ho Chi Minh at 02:10 (local time) to arrive in Kaohsiung at 06:30 (local time). The return leg will depart Kaohsiung at 08:15 (local time) and arrive in Ho Chi Minh at 10:45 (local time).

Vietjet also plans to increase frequency between Ho Chi Minh and Tainan. The route will increase to five return flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 30 October 2016. The flight will depart Ho Chi Minh at 10.30am (local time) and arrive in Tainan at 14:45 (local time). The return flight will depart at 17:45 (local time) and arrive in Ho Chi Minh at 18:00 (local time). The flights duration is 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Vietjet currently operates 53 domestic and international routes.
