Etihad Airways Introduces New Collection of Business Class Amenity Kits

Etihad Airways has introduced a new collection of Business Class amenity kit designs inspired by five cities in its extensive global network.

The cities are Melbourne, New York, São Paulo, Rome and Bangkok, while the existing Abu Dhabi kit has been refreshed with a new design and a fully updated city guide.

The designs of the amenity kits are influenced predominantly by the architectural features of each city. The Melbourne kit, for example, takes its cue from the city's 19th century buildings, the Yarra river and coastline; the Abu Dhabi kit, is inspired by the intricate mosaics of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque; and New York’s by the city's grid-like streets, avenues and iconic yellow taxis. The Colosseum and ancient stone architecture influence the Rome kit; Bangkok reflects the city’s decorative temples; and the São Paulo kit reflects the commercial capital’s iconic pavement pattern and the national colours of Brazil.

Calum Laming, Etihad Airways’ Vice President Guest Experience, said, “The luxury amenities, collectable guides and functional bag complement Etihad Airways’ Business Class experience, adding extra colour, character and innovative flair to our service and hospitality offering.”

The Scaramouche + Fandango comfort kit features a facial moisturiser enriched with vitamin E and made with anti-oxidants and essential oils to combat fatigue and the lower humidity levels in the cabin. Triglycerides and essential oils rebalance the skin’s natural moisture. A honey and shea butter lip balm enriched with vitamin E keeps lips hydrated.

The new kits also include city guide, a sleep pack containing socks and eye mask, and a dental pack and earplugs.
