Finnair Expands Network in Sweden

Finnair has extended its codeshare operation with Swedish regional airline BRA to cover new routes in Sweden.

 As of 5 September 2016, Finnair's AY code will be added to BRA's routes between Bromma in Stockholm and Trollhttan, Visby, Kalmar, Rnneby, Angelholm/Helsingborg, Vxj, Sundsvall, Halmstad and re/stersund.

 In addition BRA's code will be added to the Ume-Helsinki route, which BRA operates for Finnair.

"We are excited about extending the cooperation with BRA, and offering new connections to and from Sweden, which is a key growth market for us," said Juha Jrvinen, Chief Commercial Officer, Finnair.

The flights with AY code are being sold from 5 September 2016 for travel from 15 September 2016.

Earlier this year Finnair entered into loyalty program cooperation with BRA, and in September, BRA will start operating Ume-Helsinki route for Finnair. Finnair is also opening a new route to Vsters in Central Sweden, with a codeshare with NextJet.
