Peninsula to Cease Operation and Management of Cathay Pacific's Lounges at HKIA

With effect from 1 May, 2016, Peninsula Clubs and Consultancy Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (HSH), will cease its operation and management of the Cathay Pacific Airport Lounges at Hong Kong International Airport.

The lounges comprise The Wing, The Pier and The Cabin, three of the most highly respected and popular airport lounges, not just at HKIA but in the entire APAC region.

Mr Martyn Sawyer, HSH Group Director of Properties, said, "We are proud that group has been instrumental in the development and operation of Cathay Pacific's Lounges at Hong Kong airport since its opening in 1998. These lounges have been very well received by Cathay Pacific's customers and have received many awards and accolades. We have been working diligently to transition existing staff members and we wish Cathay Pacific Lounges well in the future."
