Park Regis Singapore Opens Self Service Laundry Facility

The Park Regis Singapore has become the latest full service hotel in Singapore to open a self service laundry facility for guests, something which is becoming increasingly popular even in 4 and 5-star hotels.

The token-operated laundromat provides an alternative for guests who wish to do their own laundry at a fraction of the regular cost charged by a hotel.

The service is proving very popular with business travellers on multiple-city trips, and for those who simply do not want to travel with as many clothes as they normally would.

The Super Relax – Wash & Dry facility operates around the clock and features two washer and dryer units.

“At Park Regis Singapore, we believe in staying abreast of travel trends in the highly competitive market and are thrilled to implement this self-service laundry service which serves to enhance guest satisfaction and boost overall hotel stay experience,” said Jack Chua, General Manager of Park Regis Singapore. “With traveller needs in mind, this initiative provides convenience and cost savings for guests at both leisure and corporate levels.”

Guests simply need to purchase a token from the hotel’s concierge or reception counters to use the machines at a nominal fee, which includes cleaning detergents.

Super Relax – Wash & Dry is located in the hotel basement.
