First Prefabricated Peppers Hotel to Open in Perth, Australia

Mantra Group is preparing to open its first prefabricated Peppers Hotel, the Peppers Kings Square in Perth, Australia.

Scheduled for completion in around six months, the prefabricated hotel by Hickory Building Systems patented construction technology utilises elements including modular bathrooms, pre-attached facades and precast concrete panels.

Christian Boucousis, Director of Mode Development Group, sees prefabricated hotels as an innovative way forward for Australia’s thriving hotel and tourism industry, where demand for accommodation is steadily increasing.

“Our vision is to build a Hospitality Trust unlocking value in sites around Australia using faster, more cost effective and more environmentally friendly construction. Therefore this unique design developed by specialist hotel architect Peter Israel of PTI Group and Hickory Building Solutions will support the growing demand for tourism in Australia in affordable accommodation solutions,” he said.

Located in a prime position opposite Perth Arena, the 17-floor Peppers King Square will feature 120 Studio Apartments and conference facilities.
