Courtyard by Marriott Opens in Fengxian District of Shanghai

Marriott has expanded its Courtyard brand to the Fengxian district of Shanghai.

The Marriott Shanghai Fengxian hotel is just 42 kilometers away from downtown Shanghai and a 45-minute drive to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, Hongqiao Transportation Hub and Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

“Marriott International is delighted to see the soaring popularity of our Courtyard by Marriott brand in China. Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Fengxian is the brand’s 40th in Asia and the 14th in China. It surely will deliver Courtyard by Marriott’s brand promise for offering business and leisure travelers a refreshing stay with friendly and attentive service,” said Henry Lee, Chief Operations Officer – Greater China of Marriott International.

The 259 guest rooms of the rebranded hotel, which opened in 2001, range from 36 to 150 square meters. Amenities include HD TV with satellite TV channels, safe deposit box, mini-bar and the hotel’s bespoke “Golden Pillow Service” offering guests a choice of seven types of pillow.

The hotel offers more than 824 square meters of meeting space that includes 11 meeting rooms which can accommodate functions of different scales up to 180 people.

Recreational facilities at the Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Fengxian include a 25-meter indoor swimming pool, a 24-hour health center and a sauna & spa center with eight treatment rooms.
