SAS Adds PayPal One Touch as Payment Option

SAS has increased the payment options available to customers by offering PayPal One Touch as a solution.

This allows SAS customers to choose the solution that best suits them, whether it be bank card, credit card, direct payment, invoice, or PayPal One Touch.

“We are always working to optimize our sales channels so we can create simple and flexible solutions that suit our clients. Many people are used to using so-called ‘wallet solutions’, such as PayPal, when shopping online, so I am pleased that we at SAS are now also able to offer this payment solution,” said Annelie Nässén, Global Sales Director at SAS.

Initially, PayPal will be available as a payment option for travelers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, and the UK. PayPal will also be available as a payment method in the SAS app soon.

“Once you have decided to buy something, it should be easy to complete the transaction. PayPal One Touch makes the process as simple as possible, without sacrificing security,” said Mårten Barkman, CEO of PayPal in Scandinavia.

SAS sells digitally on around 30 different markets and is investing heavily in offering local payment methods to meet its customers’ needs.

As recently as November 2015, SAS increased the payment options available in the Chinese market by offering both Alipay and UnionPay to its customers in China and Hong Kong.
