Andrew Tan has been appointed as General Manager of the Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites in Ningbo, China.

A Singaporean, Andrew has worked in his home country as well as in Australia and the United Kingdom. He has over 22 years of hospitality industry experience in general management, sales and marketing, revenue management, F&B and catering operations.

Andrew started his hospitality career in catering sales and earned increasingly senior roles in sales, marketing and events management. He took on his first General Manager position in 2009 at both the 610-room Millennium Gloucester Hotel & Conference Centre and the 210-room Millennium Baileys Hotel in London.

He then moved back to Singapore to take the helm at the Orchard Hotel in Singapore before returning to the United Kingdom to assume leadership of Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington in 2014.

Its a pleasure to welcome Andrew to our Group. As a seasoned hotelier with a proven track record of performance, Andrew is well-placed to drive continuous growth for Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Ningbo. As Ningbo enjoys rising prominence as a strategic business destination in China, we are confident that Andrews combination of keen business acumen, sales and marketing savviness and understanding of operational strategy will drive top-of-mind for our hotel as the destination of choice for accommodation, dining, and events, says Erik Anderouard, Senior Vice President, Operations, Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
