Andrew Tan Joins Pan Pacific Ningbo as GM

Andrew Tan has been appointed as General Manager of the Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites in Ningbo, China.

Andrew, who enjoyed a fruitful 17-year career with Millennium Hotels and Resorts, was most recently the General Manager of Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington.

A Singaporean, Andrew has worked in his home country as well as in Australia and the United Kingdom. He has over 22 years of hospitality industry experience in general management, sales and marketing, revenue management, F&B and catering operations.

Andrew started his hospitality career in catering sales and earned increasingly senior roles in sales, marketing and events management. He took on his first General Manager position in 2009 at both the 610-room Millennium Gloucester Hotel & Conference Centre and the 210-room Millennium Bailey’s Hotel in London.

He then moved back to Singapore to take the helm at the Orchard Hotel in Singapore before returning to the United Kingdom to assume leadership of Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington in 2014.

Andrew has a degree in economics from the University of Western Australia, Perth.
