Agus Suananda Joins Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali as GM

Mr Agus Suananda has been appointed as General Manager of Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali.

Agus will drive the resorts pre-opening efforts, which includes establishing brand standards, streamlining the opening and integration process, and managing the daily operations of the resort.

Agus has over ten years of hospitality experience. He was previously General Manager at Centara Taum Seminyak Resort in Bali where he worked closely with key stakeholders to manage the hotel operations and revenue. Prior to that, he was General Manager of several hotels in Bali including Bloo Lagoon Sustainable Village, Five Elements Puri Ahimsa Ubud, and Waka Nusa Resort in Lembongan Island.

Mr Agus said, Bali was voted as one the worlds best islands by leading industry bodies and welcomed more than 4 million tourists last year a true testament to its title as a leading resort destination. Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali will be the first upscale hotel in Klungkung and allows guests to discover another facet of Bali with its beautiful black sand beach, world-class surf breaks and close proximity to heritage centres. In line with the direction set by Wyndham, we hope that the opening of Wyndham Jivva Bali will encourage sustainable tourism in Bali and enrich guests with local wisdom through authentic experiences.

Wyndham Jivva Bali will be the groups first managed hotel in Indonesia, located on Balis Lepang Beach, Klungkung. Scheduled to open in September 2016, the US$22 million beachfront resort designed by Indonesian architect Gregorius Supie will comprise eight villas and 214 apartments.

Set on 1.4 hectares of beachfront land, the resort will feature a floating lobby surrounded by a pool, garden pool, a separate pool, which expands into the oceanfront, a beach club, an all-day dining restaurant, conference facilities, a destination spa and a fitness centre. The resort is just minutes from the world-famous surf break, Keramas and cultural landmarks such as Bali Safari & Marine Prak and the Klungkung Palace.
