Thai AirAsia to Launch Phuket - Wuhan Flights

Thai AirAsia is preparing to launch direct daily flights between Phuket in southern Thailand and Wuhan, China.

The city of Wuhan in central China is home to many tourist sites such as the Yellow Crane Tower, Butung Mountain, Tiger Spirit Shrine, the Red Cliff and the Shrine of Kuan Yu.

Mr. Santisuk Klongchaiya, Director of Commercial for Thai AirAsia, said, “Our inaugural flight for the Phuket-Wuhan route will be on 1 February, which is also the start of the Chinese New Year Festival. During the long holiday, we would like to invite residents in and around Wuhan to visit Phuket to experience Thailand’s world famous beaches and attractions. We are confident that AirAsia’s low fares, strong on-time record and well-recognized brand in China will draw the people of Wuhan to Phuket and help stimulate its economy.”

To celebrate the new route, Thai AirAsia is offering a promotional fare of THB 2,290 per trip until 24 January 2016 for travel between 1 February 2016 and 5 February 2017. Terms and conditions apply.
