Thai AirAsia to Launch Bangkok - Luang Prabang Flights

Thai AirAsia has unveiled plans to launch flights between Don Mueang (DMK) and Luang Prabang (LPQ), Lao PDR on 24 March 2016.

The flights will be Thai AirAsia’s first entry into Lao PDR. The two locations which are just over one hour from each other by plane.

“Luang Prabang has many distinct travel features, from its local lifestyle and culture to its natural attractions. This latest route also creates new investment opportunities. We are confident that as a friendly destination, Luang Prabang will quickly grow to be a popular place to visit for both Thai and international travellers,” said Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia.

The Luang Prabang route will be available daily from Don Mueang Airport (DMK) starting on 24 March 2016. Passengers can book the flight at a special debut fare starting at only 990 THB per way until 14 February 2016 for travel between 24 March 2016 and 5 February 2017
