Compass Hospitality Adds Lace Market Hotel in High Pavement, Nottingham to Portfolio

Within six months of entering the UK market, Compass Hospitality has added the newly renovated Lace Market Hotel in High Pavement, Nottingham to its portfolio.

During the days of the British Empire, Nottingham became the center of the world’s lace industry housed in impressive 19th Century Victorian industrial architecture. Today, many of the former warehouses have been conserved and restored into chic apartments, shops, restaurants, bars and museums.

Located in the Lace Market, considered the oldest part of Nottingham and center of the Creative Quarter, the 42-key boutique hotel is steps away from historical attractions like St. Mary’s Church, Galleries of Justice Museum and Shire Hall; as well as the cosmopolitan hub of high street shops and trendy restaurants.

Previously converted from a Georgian townhouse, Standard room amenities include flat screen HD LCD TV, high speed Wi-Fi, minibar and refreshment counter, and en-suite bathroom. Superior rooms and suites feature original fireplaces, free-standing bathtubs, artworks and period interior designs.

Compass Hospitality's President & CEO, Harmil Singh said, "We are very pleased to add the iconic Lace Market Hotel to our portfolio in UK. In the few months we have commenced our management of the other five hotels, they have all achieved strong performance. We are confident of the market potential in the UK and will continue to seek out acquisitions and opportunities in the UK."
