Kata Group Resorts Appoints VP

Kata Group Resorts has appointed Wiswin Pitikulsathit as Vice President ahead of a new campaign to build a higher, more distinctive international profile.

Previously Kata Group's Assistant Vice President for Asset Management, Mr Pitikulsathit joined Kata Group Resorts from the Bangkok-based Asset Pro Management Company Limited where he was a Senior Financial Analyst.

Educated at Monash University in Melbourne Australia, Mr Pitikulsathit also has a Masters in Hospitality from the prestigious Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland.

"It is a great challenge and one I am relishing. Kata Group Resorts has a long and successful history in the hospitality industry and I am looking forward to continuing to press ahead, respecting the past while keeping a firm eye on the future," Mr Pitikulsathit said. "There is so much potential. Thailand is one of the most desirable destinations worldwide for leisure travel, which is our core focus, and we have strong relationships with the key players in the travel trade industry. To this we will seek further partnerships and embark on a strategy that will embrace the digital requirements of travellers who are seeking more personalised experiences and the growing trend of more specific, segmented travel offerings."

Kata Group Resorts owns and operates of six resorts in Thailand.
