Jumeirah Beach Hotel Opens Refurbished Beit Al Bahar Villas

The Beit Al Bahar Villas, set within the grounds of Jumeirah Beach Hotel, have re-opened following an extensive refurbishment.

The first of Jumeirah Groups properties, Jumeirah Beach Hotel officially opened in November 1997, and was developed by WS Atkins and interior designer Khuan Chew, of KCA International - the same architects and designers later responsible for the creation of the world-famous Burj Al Arab Jumeirah.

The curved silhouette of Jumeirah Beach Hotel represents a breaking wave of the Persian Gulf, on the shore of which the hotel is located. The hotels Talise building is designed as a shell, in homage to the oysters and the pearl diving industry that shaped the economy of Dubai until the first half of the 20th century.

However, one of Jumeirah Beach Hotels best kept secrets is the cluster of 19 private villas, whose name translates as villas by the sea. The 220-sqm villas are hidden between lush green foliage and water features at the hotel.

The fresh looking interiors of the villas comprise comforting hues and brightly coloured furniture. The generous living-rooms have high, wood-beamed roofs and the contemporary-inspired bedrooms feature a king sized bed. The bathrooms showcase a mosaic-lined sunken bath which is complemented by luxurious Aqua di Parma amenities.

Guests of any Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts in Dubai receive unlimited complimentary entry to Wild Wadi Waterpark; at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, guests have their own, private entrance as the resort and the waterpark are connected.

General Manager of Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Mahmoud Sakr, said, The one and two-bedroom villas offer a luxurious experience, a private terrace, a plunge pool which overlooks a private garden and the Arabian [Persian] Gulf. Each villa also has 24-hour butler service, aromatherapy menus, the finest bed and bath linens and the latest in-room technologies. We are pleased to announce the refurbishment is now complete and we look forward to welcoming our esteemed guests to experience the enhanced accommodation.
