InterContinental Hotels Group has expanded its portfolio of Holiday Inn Express hotels in Thailand with the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11, the fourth Holiday Inn Express hotel to open in Thailand since the brand debuted in the country in 2012.

The new 161-room Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 is located along Sukhumvit Soi 11, not far from both the Nana BTS Skytrain and Sukhumvit MRT Subway stations.

The hotel provides guests with a choice of queen or twin rooms that include:

- Free Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel;

- Free Express Start Breakfast or a Grab & Go option;

- A choice of firm or soft pillows; and

- Power showers with a three-function massage showerhead.

To celebrate its opening, Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 is offering a special rate of THB 1,849 for bookings from now until 30 April 2015. Terms and conditions apply.

Alan Watts, Chief Operating Officer, Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA), IHG, said, “Thailand is well known for both its vibrant city centres and sandy beaches, attracting over 20 million visitors each year, and the emergence of travellers who want the guarantee of a fuss-free stay at a reasonable rate. The Holiday Inn Express brand caters to this demand by providing guests with a refreshing and uncomplicated experience in convenient locations around the world. We expect a busy opening period for Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11, our third in Thailand’s capital, and look forward to providing our guests a welcoming stay in Bangkok.”

Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 follows the opening of Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn in June 2014 and is the 11th Holiday Inn Express hotel present in South East Asia (SEA). The new hotel joins 16 other IHG properties in the country (4,800 rooms), making Thailand home to the group’s largest number of hotels in the south east Asia region, and which will continue expanding to include eight more hotels in the next three to five years.
