VFS Global Opens Visa Application Centre for Czech Republic in Bahrain

VFS Global has opened a Visa Application Centre for the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Applicants for visas to the Czech Republic can now visit the centrally-located VFS Global centre to submit visa applications and enroll for biometrics.

The centre is located at 18th Floor, Diplomatic Commercial Tower, Diplomatic Area, Manama, Bahrain.

Ms Dana Eltamova, Head of the Consular Section, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riyadh, said, “The newly opened VFS Global Czech Visa Application Centre in Manama aims at improving the visa services for both citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and reflects the growing bilateral relations between the two countries. We believe that this important step will help to further enhance the tourism, both medical and for leisure, as well as business activities between the Czech Republic and Bahrain.”

The Czech Republic committed to make the visa services more accessible for the Bahraini citizens and residents during the official visit of H. E. the Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to Prague, the Czech capital, in February 2013. A portable biometrics device was introduced first, now being supplemented by the outsourcing of the receipt of short-term visa applications, which enables to accommodate more applicants. Citizens and residents of Bahrain will no longer need to travel to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riyadh. We wish for the VFS Global Czech Visa Application Centre to have a smooth start and successful processing of visas.”

Key features of the centre include:

· Convenient and centrally-accessed location;

· Professional staff with local language capability to handle queries and applications;

· Automated queue governance for smooth flow of applicants;

· Dedicated website for easy access to information including visa categories, requirements, check-list and applicable fees;

· 100% secure handling of passports, documents and personal information;

· Door-step delivery of passports; and

· Premium Lounge for personalised and comfortable service.
