Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

- Seed Planting in the Hotels Organic Garden CSR project

Two years ago, Hansar Samuis created an organic garden on a former piece of wasteland adjacent to the hotel. The garden produces fresh, chemical free herbs, fruit and vegetables that are used in the hotels cuisine for both guests and staff. The hotel also sells produce from each harvest in the local community to raise funds for their ongoing CSR programs, supporting the less fortunate in the local community. Guests can now participate in this important program by working with the hotels staff to plant seeds during their stay for the next harvest. A nominal charge applies for the cooking class, cocktail class and seed planting programs or if a guest wishes to have any of the other activities on an exclusive basis over and above the scheduled group activities.
