MasterCard Launches Priceless Thailand

Tee off with world-renowned golfer Sir Nick Faldo, embark on a local market tour to source fresh ingredients with an executive head chef, and take a private tour of one of Bangkoks most historic homes.

These and other one-of-a-kind experiences are coming to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket as part of MasterCards global Priceless Cities program, which launched in Thailand this week.

Thailand is the third Southeast Asian destination to be part of Priceless Cities, following the launches of Priceless Bali in August 2015, and Priceless Singapore in October 2012.

The introduction of Priceless Thailand marks an evolution of MasterCards Thailand Shopping Paradise in 2014, Thailand Shopping Celebration programs which were launched in 2012, and 72 Hours Amazing Thailand programs which were launched over ten years ago in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

The Priceless Thailand program includes specially-designed activities that give privileged access and unique experiences to MasterCard cardholders.

From a royal weekend in Bangkok where you can have private access to the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, Dusit Palace to view the exceptional exhibits of the 9th reign of the House of Chakri created by Queen Sirikit Institute, Chitralada Villa, to partake in the  ultimate luxury amidst the beautiful architecture and rice fields of Chiang Mai at the Dhara Dhevi, Priceless Thailand has something for everyone.

For a dose of culture, cardholders can go on a private tour of the 100-year old Nai Lert Park Heritage Home, set amidst bustling metropolitan Bangkok, to view the houses private collections of antiques and artifacts.

What trip to Bangkok is complete without a massage? Take the experience further at Papuri Organic Spa where you can pamper yourself with your personally designed and unique spa treatment.

Food lovers can indulge in a bespoke menu specially curated for the Priceless Thailand program and paired with rare and limited wines from special grapes at Bo.lan, one of Worlds 50 Best Restaurants. Or join Executive Head Chef, Vichit Mukura of Thai fine dining restaurant Khao, on a private shopping tour of the farmers market to shop for local ingredients, which will then be used in a cooking class and enjoyed in an exquisite meal.

Moreover, you can now explore and go beyond on the magnificent Eastern & Oriental Express where you will be welcomed by the Train Manager and learn of the history of the journey, and also receive a welcome bottle of champagne as well as a foot massage.

Antonio Corro, Country Manager, Thailand & Myanmar, MasterCard, said, The diversity of Thailands cities from the bustling metropolis of Bangkok to the unsurpassed beaches in the south make Thailand a truly unique place to visit. According to MasterCard research, Thailands cities rank among the top travel destinations in Southeast Asia. Bangkok is the top destination in MasterCards Asia Pacific Destinations Index, the number two destination globally and is expected to welcome over 18.2 million visitors who will spend US$12.4 billion this year. With Priceless Thailand, we highlight the best of what Thailand has to offer by enabling visitors to re-experience Thailand in ways that are unexpected, yet authentically Thai.
