Marco Polo Hotels Appoints Patrick Ngiam as Global Director of Sales

Marco Polo Hotels has appointed Mr. Patrick Ngiam as Global Director of Sales for the group.

A seasoned sales professional, Patrick has held senior positions in various reputable hotel groups including Hyatt, Shangri-La, Four Seasons and Marriott. With over 20 years of hotel sales experience, he has worked in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Indonesia.

His most recent position was as Senior Lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic in the School of Business.

In his capacity as Global Director of Sales for MPH, Patrick will be responsible for managing the Regional Sales Office and General Sales Agent network of the company, with offices in London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.

Patrick will also represent Marco Polo’s interests in the Global Hotel Alliance, as well as mastermind the roadshow and sales mission calendar throughout Asia Pacific.

At the same time, Patrick will also spearhead the company’s sales training and assist in progressing the sales associates through the progressive levels of the company’s in-house sales programme.
