Dusit Signs Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar

Dusit has signed a management agreement with Myanmar JP Asset Co. Ltd. for the first-ever dusitD2 hotel to be located in the mystical country of Myanmar.

Slated for a 2017 opening, the dusitD2 Residence Yangon will be located between the city centre and Yangon International Airport, and will offer 300 units, a specialty dining outlet, bar, business lounge and recreational facilities including a gym and swimming pool.

“We are very pleased to introduce the dusitD2 brand in Yangon which will be a tremendous addition to our portfolio,” said Dusit International Director of Hotel Business Development, Mr Ryan Chen. “Our team will work closely with the developer and all stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a successful project. With the growth of Myanmar’s tourism industry, we truly look forward to showcasing Dusit’s world-renowned hospitality in this charming city.”
