Shangri-La Hotel Launches Drone Experience Promotion

Due to the increasing popularity of drones with many photography enthusiasts around the world, the Shangri-La’s Sanya Resort & Spa, Hainan has partnered with China’s largest DJI drone manufacture to provide guests a new vacation experience - the Drone Experience room package.

The partnership follows the success of the resort’s Sanya leg of DJI’s 2015 New Pilot Experience Workshop.

Those that book the vacation package will be entitled to a 60-minute hands-on flight experience with the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ with an experienced instructor.

During the flight, guests will be able to capture 14-megapixel images and record a 1080p video. The footage will be directly recorded to one’s mobile device, making it quick and easy to share on social media.

The package includes other benefits, such as complimentary buffet breakfast and complimentary access to Adventure Zone, RMB400 dining credit, 50% discount on CHI spa treatments and complimentary upgrade to the next room category.
