Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has added New York style icon Iris Apfel, famed quarterback Steve Young, and fashion designers Heidi Gosman and Penny Klein of heidi klein to its Rosewood Curators program.

Launched in September 2013, Rosewood Curators are a collection of luminaries and leaders who share their insider secrets, travel tips and favorite activities in Rosewood destinations around the world.

Iris Apfel was originally an interior decorator and her projects include work at the White House for nine different Presidents. At the age of 93 (but very much young at heart) she is a front row regular during New York Fashion Week. A gallery at the Anna Wintour Costume Center at the Metropolitan Museum of Art has been named after her and her adored husband, Carl.

In the short film shot exclusively for Rosewood, Iris reveals her favorite places to eat and drink in New York, her love of travel and also her preferred pastime in the city that never sleeps. More of Iris will be seen in cinemas in April 2015 when IRIS, a documentary by Albert Maysles, will go on general release in North America.

Former professional football player Jon Steven "Steve" Young was a quarterback in the National Football League for 14 seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. He is a keen golfer and a regular visitor to Rosewood CordeValle in San Martin. Young was named the Most Valuable Player of the NFL in 1992 and 1994, and the MVP of Super Bowl XXIX. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame as well as the winner of a record six NFL passing titles. He shares the inside scoop on some his favorite local California attractions as well as his idea of bliss which involves a roaring fire and a plentiful supply of marshmallows.

In 2002, Heidi Gosman and Penny Klein launched heidi klein, a luxury boutique in West London designed to offer the perfect holiday wardrobe under one roof. Two years later, the heidi klein collection was launched and the label now sells in over 150 stores in 39 countries. The two designers discuss the highlights of their favourite vacation destination, Virgin Gorda, from swimming with turtles, snorkelling in The Baths and sampling the local drink of Rum and Ting. They loved the island so much that heidi klein launched a range inspired by Rosewood Little Dix Bay and its tropical setting.
