Wyndham Opens 206-Room Ramada Hotel in Phuket, Thailand

Wyndham Hotel Group has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Thailand with the opening of the 206-room Ramada Phuket Deevana in the heart of Patong Beach.

The THB 1 billion (A$38 million) development, owned by Deevana Hotels and Resorts, features an assortment of room categories including Deluxe rooms, Premier rooms and Junior suites, all with private balconies.

The resort boasts a third-floor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a kids’ club, a restaurant and the Orientala Wellness Spa.

“The Ramada Phuket Deevana provides travellers across the globe with Ramada’s renowned contemporary comforts on Thailand’s largest island, an incredibly popular tourist destination with high demand for quality accommodations,” said Barry Robinson, Wyndham Hotel Group’s President and Managing Director, South East Asia and Pacific Rim. “As we grow Ramada in South East Asia, we’re targeting travellers’ dream destinations, and this hotel gives our guests an opportunity to make lifelong memories on the white sands of the Andaman Sea.”

The resort joins four additional Ramada properties currently open and operating in Thailand.

The opening of Ramada Phuket Deevana also follows the June opening of Wyndham’s first mixed-use property in Asia, Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket, which accommodates hotel guests as well as timeshare owners through Club Wyndham Asia.
