Thai Airways Organises Youth Pilot Summer Camp

Thai Airways International is offering children and young adults an opportunity to attend a “Youth Pilot Summer Camp” consisting of instruction and training in a flight simulator on 7 August 2015.

The “Young Pilot Summer Camp” is open to just 70 people, aged between 10 and 23.

The activity provides opportunities for primary training in flight, training in emergency situations and training to control the aircraft in Flight Simulators of Boeing 747-400, Boeing 737-400, Airbus 380-800, Airbus 330-300, Airbus 340-500/600 and Airbus 300-600. There will also be educational flight games to win prizes.

The price for individuals between 10-17 years old is 2,900 Baht, and for individuals between 18-23 years old is 3,900 Baht.

The entire training will be supervised closely by a Thai Airways captain and participants will receive a “Young Pilot Summer Camp” T-shirt to wear during the training and will be issued a certificate and a pilot wing pin upon completion.
