Millennium Hotels and Resorts Launches Mon Bijou

Mon Bijou, the latest brand by Millennium Hotels and Resorts, has opened its doors at Claymore Connect in Singapore.

Serving French pastries and desserts with a local twist, the bistro will feature an all day dining menu and a “Grab-and-Go” take-away counter.

Award-winning Executive Pastry Chef for Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Nicolas Maugard, from Normandy, France, is the man behind Mon Bijou’s creative pastries. With over 17 years of experience in pastry and dessert making, he has honed his skills in renowned Michelin-starred restaurants in France, Mauritius, Monaco and China.

Decked in classic earthly tones, the 66-seater bistro is located on the mezzanine floor of Claymore Connect, the former Orchard Hotel Shopping Arcade, which has been newly renovated and repositioned as a family-friendly mall.

Highlights of this bistro include a range of decadent desserts, such as MB Brioche French Toast and Raspberry and Lychee Macaroon, and all-day breakfast signature items such as Crab Cake Benedict and Roasted Vegetable Frittata, coupled with healthy juices and fresh fruit smoothies. There are also chocolate diamonds and assorted macaroons to satiate those with a sweet tooth.

Mon Bijou opens daily from 11am to 7pm. Besides freshly baked pastries and desserts, diners can also tuck into the all-day menu that will feature burgers and pastas. There is also a “Grab-and-Go” counter to facilitate quick take-outs for busy executives and shoppers on the go.

Plans are underway to expand the Mon Bijou brand regionally.
