Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon has been given a partial facelift.

The hotel has opened its redesigned Lobby Lounge, which has been updated with unique art and a style that combines indoor and outdoor venues for business and leisure guests.

The decorative design and concept for the remodeling is derived from Myanmar Lacquerware containers, a very unique Myanmar traditional form.

The Lounge is colored in bronze and gold and evokes a sense of shaded sunlight, while the outer terrace, created for relaxation, provides luxury chairs and decorative Teak wood tables with a stunning landscape.

“We are thrilled to introduce our highly anticipated renovation that retains the charm the travelers have embraced by offering the finest Lobby Lounge in Yangon where customers would feel comfortable and enjoy the lounge from dusk to late evening,” said Ms. May Myat Mon Win, General Manager, Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon.

The Lobby Lounge can accommodate up to 96 people, and is open daily from 7 am to 12 pm midnight on the Lobby level.

It offers quick drinks, light snacks or high tea.

The outdoor area is a venue for private dinner set-ups, with views of the Royal Lake Kandawgyi.
