Accor Rebrands ibis Ambassador Seoul Gangnam

AccorHotels has expanded its portfolio of hotels in South Korea with the opening of ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Gangnam, formerly the ibis Ambassador Seoul Gangnam.

Featuring 317 rooms, the newly refurbished and rebranded hotel is located in the Teheran-Ro business area of the Gangnam District, near several entertainment and shopping attractions, and just a 10-minute walk to COEX Convention Centre.

“By upgrading the physical spaces and broadening the scope of service, the renovations and rebranding transform the hotel into a lifestyle destination that better caters to the needs of travellers today,” said Cho Min-sook, General Manager of both ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Gangnam and ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong.

From sophisticated lobby lighting to unique furnishings, the new look of the hotel includes bright colours and bold decor with crisp white backdrops.

Guest rooms now feature a comfy bed, a 40-inch smart flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi internet access and a range of in-room amenities.

To celebrate the rebrand the hotel is offering a special opening offer with rates starting at US$101 per night valid until 30 September. The offer includes one superior room inclusive of breakfast for two and an ibis Styles cushion.

Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer for AccorHotels Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia, said, “It is the second ibis Styles in Korea following the opening of ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong earlier this year. The hotel represents our continued commitment to strengthen our network in the country, which includes plans to open six new hotels by 2018.”

ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Gangnam is located at 431 Samseong-Ro, Gangnam-Gu, 135-840, Seoul, Koream, 65-km from Incheon International Airport and 32-km from Gimpo International Airport.
