Hong Kong Airlines and Air Mauritius to Codeshare

Hong Kong Airlines and Air Mauritius have signed a codeshare agreement.

Under the codeshare, Hong Kong Airlines will place its HX code on Air Mauritius’ twice-weekly direct flights between Hong Kong and Mauritius.

Mr. Li Dianchun, Commercial Director of Hong Kong Airlines, said, “We are extremely delighted to partner with Air Mauritius. This agreement enables us to maximize the travel opportunities offered to passengers as our network further expands across continents to the Indian Ocean. Mauritius has a trove of natural history. We are happy that our passengers will have a new exciting travel option to this beautiful land.”

Tickets under the codeshare agreement can now be purchased via travel agents or through the airlines’ sales offices and call centers.

Air Mauritius Chairman, Dr Arjoon Suddhoo, said, “The development of Asian routes is key to our network strategy. Destinations like Hong Kong have grown to become important for our network as it gives access to China and other East Asian destinations. We trust that both airlines will fully benefit from the new prospects offered by this collaboration. We will continue to work together and explore other avenues for strengthening this cooperation.”
