Wyndham Signs Ramada Suites Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand

Wyndham has expanded its portfolio of hotels in New Zealand with the signing of a franchise agreement for a Ramada Suites hotel in the heart of Aucklands central business district.

The 42-apartment Ramada Suites Auckland Federal Street hotel is being developed by Robert Neil of New Zealands The Safari Group.

The NZ$12 million development is scheduled for completion in October 2015 and will offer a mix of studio, one and two-bedroom apartments.

Barry Robinson, Wyndham Hotel Groups president and managing director, South East Asia and Pacific Rim, said, The debut of the Ramada brand in Auckland is a vital step forward in addressing the demand for quality accommodations in the citys business hub. The brands contemporary and comfortable design, quality accommodations and value-conscious offerings are sure to resonate with todays leisure and corporate travellers.

Ramada Suites Auckland Federal Street will offer guests a central location close to the citys most popular attractions including Aotea Square, Sky Tower and Skycity and the Britomart precinct, as well as the citys major businesses.

Throughout Southeast Asia and the Pacific Rim, Wyndham Hotel Group currently has more than 60 hotels open and operating under its Ramada, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Days Inn, Tryp by Wyndham and Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham brands.
