Jin Jiang International Hotels has signed a management agreement with Jiangxi Ming Run Industry, for a new hotel in Nanchang, China.

The Nanchang Mingyuan Jin Jiang International Hotel, scheduled to open in 2020, will be located at the western end of Guoti Road in the Jiulonghu District of the Honggutan New Area in Nanchang.

The hotel will be part of the Mingyuan-Jiulongwan mixed-use complex consisting of residential, retail and office facilities.

The district, which includes Honggutan Central Area, Hongjiaozhou, Fenghuangzhou and Shengmi, joins these neighborhoods together into a modern new area that is not only a center for trade and logistics, but is also home to several entertainment and sports facilities.

The area is also known for the number of environmental technology firms located there.

The 35,000-square meter hotel will be located in a 36-story building and will feature 250 rooms, seating for more than 1,000 diners and parking space for 150 vehicles.

"We are very pleased to have concluded the partnership with Jiangxi Ming Run Industry," said Mr. Simon Zhang , Chief Executive Officer of Jin Jiang International Hotels. "This is the second project that Jiang International Hotels has undertaken in Nanchang. The Jiulong Lake district is a core growth area that the city is focusing on and is expected to evolve into an international urban center capable of hosting a population of 500,000 in about five years. The city's government foresees several international powerhouses opting to locate here, and, as a result of the anticipated enhancement in the core competitiveness of the district, the planned Jin Jiang International Hotels fits in well with the development trend of the district. Upon completion, the Nanchang Mingyuan Jin Jiang International Hotel is expected to be a new landmark in the district, and will provide a high-end, convenient venue for business meetings, conferences and events."
