Preferred Hotels Appoints VP Global Sales for Asia Pacific

Preferred Hotels & Resorts has appointed Benjamin Bahn as Vice President Global Sales for Asia Pacific.

In this capacity, Benjamin is charged with overseeing all sales activities driven by the company’s team of 10 associates in seven offices across the region, to ensure strategic engagement and retention of the company’s member hotels.

“Benjamin’s appointment comes at a pivotal period of growth for Preferred Hotels & Resorts in Asia Pacific. His expertise and rich experience will prove instrumental in supporting our goal to continue the momentum our sales team has created in driving more incremental business and revenue to our member hotels across the region,” says Richard White, Senior Vice President of Global Sales.

Benjamin has a strong background in hotel sales and marketing, most recently serving as Director of Sales & Marketing at The Upper House, a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts in Hong Kong. He was part of the core team from Swire Hotels to open the hotel in 2009.

Benjamin’s experience also includes management positions with Four Seasons, InterContinental, Starwood, and Hyatt.

Born in China, Benjamin grew up in the United States and earned a Bachelor in B.A. from Newport University in Rhode Island. He is based in Hong Kong.
