Holiday Inn Express Opens in Quebec, Canada

InterContinental Hotels Group has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Canada with the opening of the new-build 134-room Holiday Inn Express and Suites Vaudreuil-Dorion hotel in Quebec.

The hotel is the first Holiday Inn Express hotel in the city, and joins other IHG properties in the Greater Montreal area including the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Montreal Airport hotel, the Holiday Inn Laval hotel and a recently-announced new-build Holiday Inn hotel expected to open in downtown Montreal in 2017.

The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Vaudreuil-Dorion hotel is located near businesses such as Kraft Canada and Ericsson. Attractions in the area include the Zig Zag Zoo and Mont Rigaud.

Guest rooms feature contemporary styling, queen, king-sized or two double beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair and an in-room coffee machine featuring complimentary Smart Roast 100% Arabica coffee.

The hotel features an indoor saltwater pool, a 24-hour fitness center and a 24-hour business center. The hotel also offers 1,820 square feet of meeting space which can comfortably accommodate up to 225 people for a cocktail style reception, and guests can take advantage of one of seven suites each featuring a private meeting room for up to four people

The complimentary Express Start breakfast bar offers a full range of breakfast items and now features an expanded selection of healthy breakfast items, including Oikos yogurt, whole wheat English muffins, Kellogg’s breakfast cereals, new Quaker oatmeal flavors in cups and a toppings bar for yogurt, cereal and pancakes. Additionally, the breakfast bar offers a wide variety of options including a rotation of egg and meat selections, biscuits, fruit, the brand's proprietary cinnamon roll and Smart Roast coffee.
