Hong Kong Airlines to Hold Walk-In Cabin Crew Recruitment Day on 26 September 2015

Hong Kong Airlines is to hold a walk-in cabin crew recruitment day on 26 September 2015.

The walk-in recruitment day will be subject to a quota of 500 candidates with the aim of recruiting around 300 cabin crew members by the end of 2015.

Candidates should bring along their updated resume, graduation certifications copies, reference letters, identity documents, recent passport-size and full length photo, and the downloaded application form for registration.

Those who meet the recruitment requirements and pass the arm-reach test (208cm.) will be invited for a group interview followed with a written assessment and the final interview.

Mr. Stanley Kan, Director of Service Delivery said, “Hong Kong Airlines is one of the fastest-growing airlines in Hong Kong. The company is an exciting place for people who are looking for a career in the aviation service team.”

Successful applicants will undergo an 8-week all-round training programme, which includes training in faculties of safety and emergency, cabin services, hospitality, team building, Wing Chun skills and passenger handling skills.

Date and Time: Saturday, 26 September 2015 (500 tickets to be distributed at 08:00-08:30).

Venue: Regal Airport Hotel, 9 Cheong Tat Road, Hong Kong International Airport, Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong.

Cabin Crew Requirements

- Minimum age 18 years;

- Have the right of abode in Hong Kong;

- Minimum of Grade E in 5 HKCEE subjects (including Level 2 or above in English and Chinese) or

- Minimum Level 2 in 5 HKDSE New Senior Secondary School Subjects (including English and Chinese) or equivalent;

- Polished interpersonal skills with an independent character that is able to work well in a team environment;

- Positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset;

- Fluency in written and spoken, English, Cantonese and Putonghua is essential;

- Ability to speak Japanese, Thai, Indonesian, or other languages would be an advantage; and

- A minimum arm-reach of 208cm and physical fitness to pass the pre-employment medical assessment.

Hong Kong Airlines’ scheduled passenger service currently covers nearly 30 popular business and leisure destinations in the Asia Pacific region.

The airline currently has a fleet size of 25 aircraft and employs nearly 3,000 people.
