Seven European Revenue Management Professionals Graduate as CRMEs

Seven European revenue management professionals graduated this week as globally Certified Revenue Management Executives.

They all attended the HSMAI Europe prep class and took the online exam in London on Wednesday, lead by pre-work HSMAI Europe trainer Niels Mekenkamp, CRME, Director Hospitality PreSales – EMEA in Infor, visiting subjects such as the collision between Revenue Management and Digital Marketing.

All participants of Wednesday’s workshop are vendors. After passing the exam they will be appointed globally Certified Revenue Management Executives, entitled to add the CRME designation to their name. Some of them will later be qualified as pre-work trainers on behalf of HSMAI Europe, in workshops to be held in 17 more cities in Europe this year.

“The HSMAI Revenue Management Advisory Board is thrilled with the traction that the CRME is getting in Europe. Revenue Management is one of the newer jobs in the hospitality organogram, so adding a certification by HSMAI to your resume, really helps to stand out and progress your career,” said Lennert de Jong, citizenM Hotels’ Commercial Director, and Chair of the HSMAI Europe Revenue Management Board.

The seven graduates are:

Janel Clark, CRME, Director of Revenue, Avvio;
Neil Corr, CRME, Senior Advisor EMEA, Advisory Services, IDeaS;
Paul King, CRME, Director, Consulting Services, Sabre Hospitality;
Paprika Lacroix, CRME, Director, Consulting Services, Infor;
Paul van Meerendonk, CRME, Senior Manager, Advisory Services, IDeaS;
Alexander Robinson, CRME, Strategic Partnership Manager, Hotel Tonight; and
Andrey Syrytsya, CRME, Senior Revenue Management Consultant, Infor.

“HSMAI Europe’s workshops bring together all industry experts to discuss the practicalities of how to overcome challenges and make the best of new opportunities,” said Ingunn Hofseth, President HSMAI Europe. “The more you know, and the more you can prove you know, the better ROI you can provide to your employer or prospective employer, the more you can improve your company’s bottom line, and the better you can position yourself in your chosen discipline. To ensure certification, no matter where in Europe you are, in addition to our big conference in London in February next year, we will bring the small certification pre-workshops to a city near potential partakers very soon.”
