Alila to Expand Portfolio with New Hotels in China and Indonesia

Alila Hotels & Resorts will open three new properties this Autumn.

Alila Anji, the groups first property in Zhejiang, China will open in September along with the Alila Seminyak, the 5th Alila property in Bali. In October 2015, the company will open the Alila Solo in Central Java, Indonesia.

Alila Seminyak, located on Balis south west coast, comprises of 240 contemporary styled rooms, as well as one penthouse.

The resort also offers a wealth of in-house facilities including Spa Alila which features Asian-inspired spa therapies, a gym and wellness centre, Leisure Concierge to organise signature Alila Experiences and an open-kitchen restaurant with Asian cuisine.

Alila Seminyak is one of the first resorts in Indonesia to surpass the rigorous EarthCheck standards, achieving a 44-point best practice score against the industry norm of five points.

The resorts eco and energy solutions include the use of local and recyclable building materials, operating completely paperless and using their own bottled water. In addition, low energy light fixtures, rainwater harvesting, environmental and building management systems have been implemented.

Room rates start from Sin$354 (US$265) ++ per night based on two people sharing.

Alila Solo, the second Alila property to open in September, is an urban resort and city retreat, located at the gateway of Solo close to the artistic hub of Java.

The thriving artistic scene in Solo is reflected throughout the hotel, which comes complete with four Alila suites, all with their own terraces and swimming pools.

The hotel is also home to a rooftop terrace bar, with panoramic views of the city, from the temples and volcanoes through to the forest green.

Alila Solos facilities include a restaurant, serving Indonesian food with a modern European twist, a Spa Alila with four treatment rooms, a gym, MICE facilities and a Kid's Club.

Room Rates start from Sin$120 (US$90) ++ per night based on two people sharing.

Alila Anji, is the group's first property to open in China.

Situated on a hillside overlooking a lake, the resort is located in the heart of the Zhejiang province, surrounded by the pristine beauty of bamboo groves and white-tea plantations.

As the location of the Oscar winning movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, the area is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty thanks to over 60,000 hectares of bamboo groves, with over 40 different species found within the region.

The area was designed as a pilot county for ecological and green building construction; Alila Anji has been built with the areas outstanding natural beauty in mind, and in accordance with Alilas strict environmental and design ethos.

With pristine grounds and excellent frontage, the resort is designed to resemble a traditional Chinese village with white exteriors and sweeping dark-tiled roofs.

The resort features 74 villas and suites with elevated views across the lake, perfect for guests looking for quiet indulgence and fresh air.

The first Spa Alila in China will be a destination within itself, with seven treatment rooms and an extensive menu of health, beauty and restorative treatments, including traditional Chinese Medicine.

Room rates start from Sin$427 (US$319) ++ per night based on two people sharing.

Alila Anji is the first of ten properties that Alila will open in China by 2017.
