Katerina Giannouka Joins Rosewood as VP Development - Asia Pacific and China

Katerina Giannouka has been appointed as Vice President - Development, Asia Pacific and China for Rosewood Hotel Group.

In her new role, Katerina will lead the group’s Asia Pacific and China development teams in sourcing management agreements and investment opportunities, to spearhead the regional growth of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, New World Hotels & Resorts and pentahotels.

Katerina has 14 years’ experience in hotel development, asset management, feasibility, advisory and operations management.

Prior to joining Rosewood Hotel Group, Katerina was with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide for eight years. In her role as senior director, development and acquisitions, she was responsible for sourcing hotel development opportunities for Starwood’s nine hotel brands and executing the company’s growth strategy in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Previously, Katerina was manager of the Starwood’s Europe, Africa and Middle East development planning team, overseeing project underwriting.

Katerina began her career as a consultant at HVS International, where she spent four years conducting more than 50 hotel valuations and market studies, and advising clients on a wide range of hospitality projects.

Katerina graduated from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom with a bachelor’s degree in international hospitality management.
