Conrad Macaus Doorman, Peter Cao is off to the 2015 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on 8 February after winning the Hilton Worldwide Rock Star competition.

Hilton is an Official Hotel Partner of the Grammy Awards and 2015 marks the 27th consecutive year of the partnership.

To mark the occasion, Hilton gave team members around the world the opportunity to become their very own Rock Stars by entering a singing competition.

Peter Cao was one of four winners worldwide with his rendition of the Chinese ballad Peach Blossom in That Place.

His prize includes two airline tickets to Los Angeles, USA, tickets to the Grammy Awards, Four-nights accommodation at The Beverly Hilton and a US$500 Visa Gift Card.

This is not the first time that Peter has won recognition for his singing efforts and he is a regular performer at in-house talent shows. With his powerful vocals and captivating stage presence, Peter won the first runner-up award at Start Your Show, a company-wide Team Member talent competition in 2012 and 2014 respectively.

"Our best wishes for Peter, his talents lie not only in being able to offer our guests exceptional service but he also possesses a beautiful singing voice," said Bede Barry, General Manager, Conrad Macau.

The glittering event will be packed with A-list celebrities from the world of music and entertainment and the celebrity that Peter is hoping to meet the most is his idol, Lady Gaga.
